Originally opened in 1992, Lane Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole public golf course located just outside of beautiful Athens, Georgia. Designed by Mike Young, Lane Creek Golf Club remains a local favorite in the area. All 18 greens, along with the practice putting green, feature Champion Bermuda grass. The practice facility includes 12,000 square feet of tee area, contoured target greens and 7,000 square foot putting green.

Recently purchased in 2024, the course is owned by Steven Schorr, a prominent real estate developer who has recently turned his attention to owning premier golf courses across the United States.  With over 25 years in real estate and investment, Mr. Schorr has accumulated a diverse portfolio that spans commercial and residential properties across the country.  His focus on golf and leisure properties has resulted in Lane Creek showcasing a growing portfolio of golf facilities focused on quality, service, fun, and a passion for the game.
